Kernow BSLM conference

Join us for the 3rd Kernow British Society of Lifestyle Medicine Conference on December 7th 2020.

The 3rd Kernow British Society of Lifestyle Medicine Conference will be doing things a little differently in 2020!

If this year has left you feeling a little “zoomed out” we’ve decided to make attending our conference a bit easier!

The conference is the region’s leading event for those interested in using the principles and practice of lifestyle medicine to treat, manage and prevent chronic disease. It’s been organised by  our regional director for Cornwall Dr Anna Huette and Drs Alison Flanagan and Helen Angel.

The team have booked an impressive line up of experts from the world of lifestyle medicine – but instead of asking you to commit to a single day to watch their talks we’ll be giving you a couple of weeks to enjoy their insight and expertise.

We’re still planning to host a live Q&A session with panelists on the morning of December 7 – but we will be making speaker presentations available for two weeks before then.

We do hope you can join us! And just in case you’re wondering – we hope to return to a “real world” conference in September 2021!

Book now for the 3rd Kernow British Society of Lifestyle Medicine Conference.

On the agenda on December 7

  • Mindfulness practice
  • Live Q&A Sessions with speakers
  • a chance to dance the famous Cornish Shuffle!

The 3rd Kernow British Society of Lifestyle Medicine Conference is aimed at GPs, clinicians, allied health and social care professionals interested in the use of evidence-based/evidence-informed lifestyle measures to prevent, treat and manage chronic conditions.

It’s a great opportunity to learn, share experiences and information and network with others with a shared interest in lifestyle medicine.

Attendance at the conference will earn you 6 BSLM accredited CPD points. Whilst these cannot be counted towards the 30 CPD points needed for the Lifestyle Medicine certification course, those studying for the exam will find the topics very useful.
