During this challenging time for the world, we are finding new ways to connect with each other. Our live educational webinar series focus on topics relating to plant-based nutrition, lifestyle medicine, planetary health and real-life patient stories.

Each webinar lasts one hour with the opportunity for Live Q&A in the final 20-25 minutes after a 30-35 minute presentation. Questions can be submitted in advance or via the Zoom chat function.

About Elena Holmes MSc, Registered Nutritionist mBANT

Elena Holmes is a Registered Nutritionist mBANT. She works with individual clients, support and interest groups, delivers educational talks and workshops, and participates in nutrition-related panels. She has been a member of PBHP UK since 2018.

Elena qualified as a Clinical Nutritionist in 2016 (PGDip) and immediately started working in the field.

In 2019, she obtained an MSc with a thesis, “What is the current evidence for alpha-linolenic acid to docosahexaenoic acid conversion efficiency in adult vegans? A systematic review”. Because of the complex nature of fatty acid metabolism, the importance of omega-3s to human health and their role in 100% plant-based diets, fatty acids remain one of Elena’s main objects of interest and expertise.

Elena regularly writes articles for nutrition, health, and vegan lifestyle-related magazines and organisations.

Elena is a member of the Research Network of The Vegan Society. Elena collaborated with Veganuary, Viva!Health, The Vegan Society, and Plant-based Health Professionals UK.
