People who have had cancer, their carers and healthcare professionals looking after them have to deal with a lot of stress. Mindfulness practices can help reduce stress and improve quality of life. In this session we will look at what is mindfulness, why mindfulness, and how it works, with special reference to cancer. We will do some meditation practices and discuss practical ways of bringing mindfulness to our daily life.
