BSLM regularly utilise speakers for our own webinar series and events, to representing at local and national sessions and events

Regional Engagement

Get involved in creating change within your own local community. From connecting with Members, to making inroads for political change, we’re always grateful for your support and involvement. Together we can achieve more.

If you have a particular interest in a topic, this may be the place for you. Contribute towards resources and/or best practice on behalf of BSLM

From writing a blog to becoming a BSLM Course writer, there are many opportunities to share educational content with wider membership in various forms

Learning Academy Associate

Contribute to our Learning Academy content by being a course reviewer or LMCA Assessor

Of course, we’re also really happy to work with you on projects where you have some specific ideas – so do get in touch and we can discuss how we could collaborate.

As a Charity, many of the opportunities available would be in a voluntary capacity; where paid roles exist, preference would be given to those already active in our community who have provided voluntary services previously where relevant, and / or where they meet specific qualification, experience and/or skillset requirements.

Course Writer

Do you have a speciality within lifestyle medicine that you are passionate about? Would you like to set yourself apart in this area by authoring your own course? Our experienced team will support you with creation of the content and building of the course, both from a clinical and a technical perspective. This includes the purchase of any textbooks or courses you may require to enhance your expertise. Course writers will receive Learning Academy credit as a thank you their contribution.

Course Reviewer

Would you like to get early, free access to exclusive Learning Academy content? Each of our courses undergoes a rigorous review process prior to its release. Join our reviewer pool and, if selected, you will be able to review the course and provide your feedback before its release.

LMCA Assessor

As the Core Accreditation grows, we need more assessors! This role is paid per exam script marked. It is open to all those with a lifestyle medicine qualification and medical education experience. We will supply all of the training required in the examination materials.

Project Leads

Our Project Leads work with our team to produce business plans to access funding for local and large-scale projects delivering lifestyle medicine. Draw on BSLM support, whilst leading the projects you’ve always dreamed of.

    • We provide you:

  • The platform, software and support to deliver content
  • Support to access the evidence-base and a network of experienced clinicians and researchers
  • Access to free lifestyle medicine CPD as it grows
  • Support from the team, which may include project manager, clinical, communication and operational leads as relevant
