The Menopause CBT Clinic® provides specialist psychological support for women experiencing emotional, psychological, and mental health challenges related to menopause. Recognising that menopause is not just a biological transition but a profound life shift that can impact mental wellbeing, the clinic offers evidence-based, compassionate psychological care tailored to each woman’s needs.

At the heart of our approach is EMBERS®, a Menopause-Informed Psychological Framework developed by us to bridge the gap in traditional mental health support for women navigating menopause. EMBERS® integrates third-wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), neuroscience, behavioural science, lifestyle medicine, and positive psychology to provide a comprehensive, biopsychosocial approach to care. This model acknowledges the complex interplay between hormones, emotions, cognition, life circumstances and the environment, empowering women to regain control over their mind, body, and life.

Alongside direct support for women, the Menopause CBT Clinic® is providing training to (mental) health professionals in menopause-informed psychological care. Our EMBERS® Professional Training Programme equips clinicians with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively support women experiencing menopause-related psychological distress. Through this training, professionals can enhance their practice and contribute to a much-needed shift in how menopause is understood and treated within mental health services.

By combining specialist care with professional training, the Menopause CBT Clinic® aims to improve access to menopause-informed psychological support – helping women not just cope, but thrive through this life stage.
