The Center for Perioperative Care ispleased to share details of an upcoming joint event with the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA). This one day meeting will focus on patient safety, exploring the barriers to delivering safe perioperative care and effective strategies to overcome them. Our aim is to build upon existing knowledge and practice to make systems, processes, and organisations safer. By deepening our understanding of the science of patient safety, and by drawing on a range of perspectives—including collaboration, education, and quality improvement—we hope to inspire delegates to make safety the golden thread running through every aspect of patient care.
