Aberdeen Regional Members Meeting
Share
Our next regional meeting takes place over Zoom on Thursday 24th February at 7pm. Members in the Aberdeen & North East Scotland region are invited to join Dr Julie Gray and Dr Fiona Mosgrove as they talk to us about exercise.
In this short talk, Dr Julie Gray discusses how to simplistically prescribe physical activity to anyone, of any ability, and how to tailor it to the individual.
Dr Fiona Mosgrove’s part of the session is for attendees to discover a little about the positive benefits of being involved, in a variety of different ways, with parkrun. Parkrun is a UK charity which helps volunteers to organise weekly, free, timed 5k runs in their own area. The aim is to bring people together and get them moving in a friendly, encouraging space. Find out more about how your patients might benefit from it.
