Due to demand, the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM) Accreditation provides a trusted stamp of approval for educational materials, courses, events and initiatives that reflect the principles and six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine — physical activity, nutrition, sleep, stress management, healthy relationships and the reduction or cessation of harmful substances.

Accreditation Period and Renewal
Accreditation is granted for 12 months, renewable annually for up to three years, provided no material changes are made to content.
All accredited partners agree to maintain BSLM’s quality and ethical standards, and to display the logo and wording proportionately on approved materials.
Fees
Accreditation fees* are set according to organisation type and scale:
- From £250 – one off, free or charitable initiatives
- From £1,000 – Small/start-up commercial organisations
- From £2,500+ – Larger commercial entities
*Final fees are determined by factors such as course or event size/costs, target audience and reach.
*Large commercial entities indicated by turnover exceeding £100,000
Accreditation can be maintained for up to 3 years assuming no material change to content and/or focus.
- Annual Renewals up to year 3 – 20% of upfront fee
How to Apply
Applications are reviewed by BSLM’s Clinical Forum to ensure full alignment with Lifestyle Medicine principles.
- Complete the BSLM Event/Course Accreditation Application Form
- Submit supporting materials for review
- Await confirmation of approval and usage rights for the BSLM kite-mark
