AWDISP (Asking Women with Diabetes about Sexual Problems) Survey

Overview

The AWDISP survey focuses on healthcare professionals and is currently seeking participants (healthcare professionals and healthcare assistants- more information here) and will run until 1 March 2023.

AWDISP will ask approximately 300 healthcare professionals and healthcare assistants to fill out an anonymous survey about their current practice, attitudes and unmet needs when asking women with diabetes about sexual problems. The survey takes place online.

They will analyse the responses and look for themes, including suggestions for improving support for women and colleagues, if necessary.

Please participate in a 15-min, online, anonymous research survey about an important diabetes lifestyle issue.

Many women with diabetes experience sexual problems but they may not find these easy to discuss with health professionals. We are exploring how professionals feel regarding asking women with diabetes about sexual problems.

We want to hear from as many NHS professionals as possible, whether or not this is an area you have experience with, and even if you feel it isn’t relevant to your job role (more details about inclusion criteria on the link below)
