Welcome to our newest appointments: Co-Vice Chair and Vice President.
We are so delighted to welcome Dr Toni Brunning and Dr Camille Hirons to new leadership roles at the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine. They are a fantastic addition to the leadership of our society and we can’t wait to see what the future holds now they’ve joined.

Vice President of BSLM: Dr Camille Hirons
Here is an introduction from Dr Camille Hirons herself, now Vice President at BSLM from January 2026:
“Hello everyone, I’m Dr Camille Hirons, and I’m delighted to be joining the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine as Vice President.
I’m an NHS GP with a specialist interest in Health Equity and Lifestyle Medicine, being a Lifestyle Medicine certified physician and Fellow of BSLM. My work is driven by the simple belief that evidence-based lifestyle medicine should be accessible to everyone, particularly those communities who experience the greatest health inequalities.
Alongside my clinical practice, I work in NHS innovation and transformation as Clinical Lead for an Integrated Neighbourhood Team and previously for the South-East London Cancer Alliance. I’ve had the privilege of co-designing and implementing a Lifestyle Medicine Service in Lewisham, South-East London, which has since been spread and scaled across the borough to improve access for underserved communities. This experience led me to create Lifestyle Medicine Accelerator, with the core mission of supporting the delivery of lifestyle medicine within the NHS.
I’m incredibly excited to be supporting BSLM in this role and to be working closely with the President, trustees and, most importantly, our members. I’m passionate about helping BSLM continue to grow its impact, strengthen its evidence base, and champion inclusive, equitable and practical lifestyle medicine across the UK. I very much look forward to connecting with many of you over the coming months, so do reach out, share your ideas, and get involved. I very much look forward to connecting with many of you over the coming months.”

We hope you join us in welcoming them on board with us!
