Dr Lutterodt is currently a London based GP registrar. He became inspired by the ever growing branch of lifestyle medicine which saw him change from surgical training to General Practice.
He graduated from University College London (UCL) in 2012 and was a keen athlete having representing the University of London Boat Club (ULBC). Chris has always had a keen interest in sport and completed a BSc in Trauma Orthopaedics at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital with his research focused on the biomechanics of human movement.
He was selected for the first ever deanery training exchange scheme where he lived and worked in Wellington, New Zealand. Through this exchange programme he learnt about the unique health needs of a population with chronic and reversible health conditions. Chris immersed himself in the physical activity and nutritional programmes used to tackle some of the health issues.
This experience inspired him to go on and study Sports, Exercise and Health MSc at UCL where he has worked with elite athletes and patients using exercise to improve health.
Chris has organised various lifestyle medicine events and found himself recently working as a Director for the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM).
