    What to Expect

    The morning will be all about learning together and predominantly lecture based. The afternoon programme provides delegates with the opportunity to participate in several introductory and interactive workshops for a fun and facilitated movement experience.

    The day will close with a panel Q+A session.

    Come along prepared to move and feel the benefits for your own mental well-being !

    Make sure you bring or wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear. Please bring a snack & full water bottle & waterproof layer for the workshop sessions to have on your person.

    At registration, please be ready to sign up to several workshops options (Sign up for the Movement Workshops will happen at the time of registration on the day so please ensure you arrive early as this will be on a first come first served basis and there will be a chance to participate in 2 workshops each depending on availability: Options include:  A guided run in Ruskin Park with William Pullen, Tai Chi with Damien Hackney, Yoga with Heather Mason, Primal Play with Darryl Edwards and Moving at Work with Dr Christie Lewis)

    A Special Presentation

    During the lunch break, we will be showing “Tonic of the Sea“, a very special short film by Katie Maggs. Tonic of the Sea is a mini-documentary showing the link between mental health and sea swimming. Katie swims off the rocks of Penzance, UK nearly everyday of the year. Swimming has helped her overcome some of the struggles that life all too often throws our way. The hope is that her story may help others who are faced with similar challenges.

    Refund Policy

    Event Cancellation by BSLM

    BSLM reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If BSLM cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.

    Event Cancellation by Participant

    Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event or simply have had a change of plans. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.

    These policies apply to all events produced by BSLM unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
