Helen is a GP Partner and Trainer working on the Wirral. During her 15 years working alongside her patients and seeing the impact of lifestyle related conditions she became increasingly interested and passionate about the role of evidenced based lifestyle medicine within General Practice and beyond. She is enthusiastic about a holistic and patient centred approach and has a specialist interest in Women’s health.
She hopes to spread the word through education and working alongside Public Health, Third sector, CCG and PCN’s to prioritise the importance of lifestyle medicine to improve patients health. She is also keen to embed lifestyle medicine principles into workplaces to improve wellbeing for individuals
She has set up a private lifestyle medicine clinic on Wirral called Flourish for Life and is also working alongside Agile Life Sciences on research around the vaginal microbiome !
Helen enjoys time with her husband, keen triathlete and ICU Consultant (in that order) and their two active boys. She has recently completed her first middle distance triathlon and working towards completing her first marathon in April 2023
