Rob Mulholland

About Rob Mulholland

Since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 1986 Rob has focused on creating outdoor environmental sculpture. His early work in the early nineties, such as the Green man, a 300ft long figure constructed with over 300,000 aluminium cans installed in Glasgow Green encouraged Rob to develop work that was outside the confines of a gallery and accessible to the public. Further works followed and these considered the wider connection between Humans and their natural environment. His artistic practise continues to develop and he is currently creating a sculpture trail in a twenty acre woodland near Drymen in the heart of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park which will be open next year to the public.
